Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This policy explains how VCBL Ltd ("we", "us") handles personal data in connection with the aitak.dev website and any apps we publish under the AITAK name (together, the "Services").
Who we are
The data controller is VCBL Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12424174), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Technical information. Our website host may automatically process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and request times in server logs, for security and to operate the site.
- App information. Each of our apps describes the data it uses in its App Store privacy details and, where relevant, within the app itself. Where an app needs device permissions (for example location or camera), it will ask you first, and you can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings.
How we use information
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, provide and support the Services, keep them secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Legal bases
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we rely on our legitimate interests in running and securing the Services and answering enquiries, on performance of a contract where you use a Service, on compliance with legal obligations, and on your consent where we ask for it.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the Services (such as hosting and email providers), where required by law, or with your consent. Apps distributed through the Apple App Store are also subject to Apple's own privacy policy.
International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.
Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To make a request, email [email protected]. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its "Last updated" date.
